Qualsa is a wholly owned subsidiary of Metropolitan Health Corporate (Pty) Ltd (also known as MHG), a subsidiary of Metropolitan Holdings Ltd, which is a listed entity on the JSE. As a truly African company with a strong empowerment record Qualsa has BEE shareholders, namely Kagiso Trust Investment (KTI) and Inyanga Consortium. In addition management and staff hold a portion of shares. The effective black ownership of Qualsa is in excess of 30%.
